Hiberfil.sys in Windows 7

Sometimes you may wonder the disk space on your drive where the OS is installed is reducing. This could be because of the "hiberfil.sys" file.

To delete the "hiberfil.sys" file in Windows 7 , you can open the command prompt and type the command

powercfg.exe -h off

After which check the folder size and you would have regained the free space.
