Microsoft Windows Vista and Office 2007 launch for Developers and Architects

A bright sunny thursday was all set for the great event.. guess... yes, none other than the "Microsoft Windows Vista and Office 2007 launch for Developers and Architects". It had a great caption , "Ready for a Big Leap". As usual by about 8:30 AM lot of people started gathering at the TAJ Residency. The registration started of at 9:00 AM . There was some coffee/Tea being served too. The clock struck 9:30 AM and there goes the first session of the event "WOW Demo of Windows Vista and Office 2007 user features" . It was taken by Ramesh . It was a great a session indeed for the people who was seeing Vista for the very first time. Though i had seen it sometime back, I was thrilled to see some of the features he had shown. Some of the features like live desktop , renaming photographs, search in the start was really good. He had finished the session on time . The next session started off with "Building differentiated user experiences with Windows Vista"

Web Experts Meet

BDONET.....BDOTNET Amazing but reality..... Technology all the time... Yes, BDOTNET is a happening and wonderful world of technology. Again but not the least there was a great event for the web technologist called as Web Experts Meet was organised at the Microsoft Building in bangalore last saturday (20/1/2007). I was all excited for the meet as usual, more of because my friend Pooran was delivering a talk. The meet had a agenda for 3 talks, starting with Pooran on Web Services. It was usual pooran's style of giving the presentation :). He talked on the web services , the do and don't . Excellent in all. Not to be forgotten he is a founder of a company called Zealous . Great man indeed, filled with the passion for technology. Moving further we had a session on Windows Live from Kevin of Microsoft. He took us through the various Live initaitives and the offerings. Middleware Mania 2007

Last Saturday (6th January 2007), the first weekend of the new year we had the Middleware Mania 2007 organizes by BDOTNET at the Microsoft Campus. The scheduled time of the event was 1:30 PM and to my suprise as usual couple of people were already present by 12:30 PM as it was the time for registration. The event took off ontime with introduction to Middleware and rosettanet from Kashi. The session was a great insight to couple of people who was new to the EAI world. This was followed by a great demo from Gibson and Ranjeeth. I can still remember the pipeline doubt which went on and on... :) . This session slightly overshoot the time for Benny's. I felt many was waiting for Benny's session on the new features in Biztalk 2006. It was well explained session.... Thanks to Benny. After the three session, for a great relief we had some coffee, in the time i could see many people crowded around benny.. i think benny caught many fans already :) .
